General Federation of Women's Clubs Stamp

The General Federation of Woman’s Clubs stamp was issued on September 12, 1966 to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the organization of the same name.
The General Federation of Woman’s Clubs coordinates local woman’s clubs worldwide to promote volunteer service and community involvement.  The organization participates in a wide range of programs such as promoting the Pure Food and Drug Act, the Violence Against Women Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act and child labor laws, and assisting wounded veterans and many more community programs.

The stamp was designed by Charels Henry Carter.
