United States Postage Stamps: 1966

The United States Post Office issued 16 different commemorative stamps in 1966 on a wide variety of topics that ranged from the 175th anniversary of the Bill of Rights to commemorating the American Circus.  A souvenir sheet commemorating the Sixth International Philatelic Exhibition (SIPEX) was also issued.  Both the souvenir sheet and the five cent stamp with the same design are popular with stamp collectors.
